When the dioceses of Springfield, Massachusetts decided to close Holyoke Catholic High School 14 years ago, Weld Management Co., Inc. immediately recognized the wonderful opportunity that a historic renovation of the Italianate gothic buildings would present for housing in downtown. Weld purchased the property in 2004 and finally was funded with low income tax credits and historic tax credits to fund a $19,500,000 project with 54 units.
